About Coup de Main

Coup de Main is the bilingual (French and English) marketplace for housekeeping, babysitting and home maintenance in Montréal. We help households and small businesses find vetted people, ask questions on video before the first visit, and match without lead fees.

Too many home-help platforms push paid leads, lightly checked profiles, or an English-only experience. Coup de Main is built for Canada: identity verification for everyone, background checks by a licensed provider when the work calls for it, video answers visible only after a mutual match, and a fully bilingual app. Workers set their own rates; Coup de Main never charges a fee just to get in touch.

We open city by city, starting with Montréal, for residential and light commercial cleaning, child care, and everyday maintenance and repairs. The waitlist is open; the app launches in Montréal first. You can agree on live-in or live-out work in any category.
