Waitlist privacy notice

Last updated: October 27, 2026

This notice explains how Manhattin Inc., which operates Coup de Main, handles the personal information collected by the waitlist on lecoupdemain.ca, in line with Quebec’s Act respecting the protection of personal information in the private sector (Law 25) and PIPEDA.

Information we collect

Your email, your city, your role (finding help, offering help or both), the services you chose, your language, the date of your consent and, where applicable, the invite code you used.

Why we collect it

To let you know when Coup de Main opens in your city, to update you about your referrals and the free identity verification, and to decide which cities and categories to open first, using aggregate statistics. We do not use your information for any other purpose without your consent.

Sharing and hosting

We never sell or rent your information. It is hosted in Canada by our infrastructure provider (Supabase, Montréal region), which is bound by contract to confidentiality and security obligations.

Retention

We keep your information until we open in your city, and for no more than 24 months after you join if you do not create an account. It is then destroyed or anonymised.

Your rights

You can withdraw your consent, access your information, have it corrected or ask for it to be deleted at any time. Every email we send also includes an unsubscribe link.

Person in charge of the protection of personal information
